Frequently asked questions
Are your summer products made in Berlin?
Yes. All garments are made with great care in our Berlin workshop. We use high-quality natural materials, timeless designs, and place great importance on lasting quality.
Why is grow-with-me summer clothing sustainable?
When clothing fits across multiple sizes, it needs to be replaced less often. This saves resources and ensures that favorite pieces can be worn for many months.
What should my baby wear on cool summer evenings?
A Loopbody or baby bodysuit as a base layer pairs wonderfully with a fine-knit top or a lightweight cozy outfit. This way, an extra layer can simply be added as temperatures drop.
What clothes are suitable for a vacation?
Grow-with-me bodysuits, lightweight linen or muslin trousers, a thin hat, and a muslin cloth can be combined in many ways and take up little space in your suitcase.
How can I tell if my baby is too warm?
The most reliable way to check the temperature is at the back of the neck. It should feel comfortably warm but not damp. Babies’ hands and feet often feel cooler, so they are not a reliable indicator.
Is muslin good for summer?
Yes. Muslin is lightweight, soft, and breathable. Many parents especially appreciate the material on warm days.
Why is linen suitable for babies?
Linen is especially breathable, feels pleasantly cooling, and helps dissipate excess heat. That is why it is often used for summer clothing.
Does my baby need to wear long clothes in summer?
Even on warm days, lightweight, long-sleeved clothing can be useful—for example, as protection from the sun, wind, or cooler mornings and evenings. The key is to choose fabrics that are lightweight and breathable.
Which fabrics are suitable for warm days?
Linen, muslin, organic cotton, TENCEL™ and bamboo viscose are among the most popular materials for spring and summer. They are breathable, lightweight and gentle on the skin.
What does a baby wear in summer?
On warm days, a lightweight bodysuit or wrap bodysuit made from a breathable natural material is often sufficient. If needed, lightweight linen or muslin trousers complete the outfit.
What does a baby wear in spring?
In spring, the layering principle proves its worth. A lightweight base layer and—depending on the temperature—an additional insulating layer can be flexibly adapted to the weather.
