Frequently asked questions
Why are baby bodysuits made in Berlin?
Our baby bodysuits are made with great care in our Berlin workshop. Short transport routes, high-quality materials, and meticulous craftsmanship ensure that they accompany babies for a long time and can also be passed on to siblings.
Can my baby sleep in a bodysuit?
Yes. A baby bodysuit is ideal as a first layer of clothing under pajamas or a sleep sack. Depending on the room temperature, it can also be worn on its own.
What does my baby wear over a bodysuit?
Depending on the temperature, a fine-knit pair of trousers, a cozy suit, or—on cold days—a boiled-wool jacket or boiled-wool overall is suitable over the bodysuit. Following the layering principle, the clothing can be flexibly adapted to the weather.
Are the baby bodysuits also suitable for cloth diapers?
Yes. Our bodysuits provide enough room for cloth diapers and don’t restrict your baby’s freedom of movement.
What size should a baby bodysuit be?
A baby bodysuit should fit snugly enough to stay in place while still allowing plenty of freedom of movement. Grow-with-me bodysuits adapt to your baby’s body over a longer period and often fit across several sizes.
How many baby bodysuits do you need?
How many bodysuits you need depends on how often you do laundry. We recommend 4–6. Grow-with-me bodysuits fit for over a year instead of just a few weeks. From age 1, they fit for 2 years, until the child no longer needs them.
Is bamboo viscose good for babies?
Bamboo viscose is especially soft, elastic, and moisture-regulating. Many parents appreciate the comfortable feel—especially on warmer days or for active babies.
What is TENCEL™ and why is it suitable for babies?
TENCEL™ Modal is made from wood fibers and feels especially soft against the skin. The material is breathable, absorbs moisture well, and is therefore ideal for sensitive baby skin.
Which material is suitable for baby bodysuits?
Natural materials such as cashmere blends, TENCEL™ Modal, bamboo viscose, and organic cotton are particularly gentle on the skin, breathable, and temperature-regulating. The right option depends on the season and personal preferences.
Why are grow-with-me baby bodysuits useful?
Babies grow particularly quickly during their first year of life. Adjustable bodysuits grow with children and last significantly longer than conventional models, so they need to be replaced less often. This saves money and conserves resources.
What is the difference between a regular baby bodysuit and a loop bodysuit?
A classic baby bodysuit is fastened at the crotch with snap buttons. The loop bodysuit does not need snap buttons. Instead, a soft fabric loop holds the bodysuit securely together. This makes diaper changes easier, and the bodysuit grows with your baby across several sizes.
Which baby bodysuit is the best?
The best baby bodysuit fits comfortably, keeps the tummy pleasantly warm, and provides plenty of freedom of movement. Many parents choose grow-with-me styles because they can be worn for significantly longer and need to be replaced less often.
