What is an adjustable children’s pair of trousers?

Growing children’s trousers are designed to fit your child across several sizes. Long waistbands and leg cuffs, together with a well-thought-out fit, ensure that the trousers remain comfortable at every stage of growth and can be worn for significantly longer than conventional children’s trousers.

How long does a grow-along pair of children's pants fit?

Depending on the model, our knickerbockers can often accompany your child for 2–3 years. The long cuffs can initially be folded up and later fully unfolded. This allows the trousers to grow with your child step by step.

Why are long cuffs so practical?

The cuffs ensure that the pants fit well even on smaller children and adjust as they grow. At the same time, the pant legs stay where they belong. In summer, they can be rolled up into shorts when playing by the water.

Which adjustable-growth trousers are suitable for each season?

That depends on the material:

What size should I buy?

Use your child’s current height as a guide. Thanks to the adjustable fit that grows with your child, there’s no need to buy a larger size “in advance”—the trousers naturally grow with them.

Which children’s trousers are suitable for kindergarten?

For kindergarten, we recommend comfortable trousers that allow plenty of freedom of movement, that your child can put on independently at an early age, and that are easy to wash. We recommend our knickerbockers or pull-on bib trousers.
