Frequently asked questions

Why are your jackets made in Berlin?

All jackets are made with great care in our Berlin workshop. High-quality natural materials, timeless designs, and meticulous craftsmanship ensure that they accompany children through many adventures.

What should my child wear under a children’s jacket?

Depending on the temperature, we recommend a T-shirt or long-sleeved shirt as a base layer and, in cooler weather, an additional sweater or fine-knit layer for warmth. This allows the clothing to be adapted flexibly.

Which trousers go with the jackets?

Our jackets can be perfectly paired with knickerbockers, pull-on bib pants, or boiled-wool pants. This creates a comfortable outfit for kindergarten, the playground, or family outings.

What size should I choose?

Use your child’s current height as a guide. Thanks to the adjustable fit, many of our jackets grow with children across several clothing sizes.

Are your children's jackets windproof?

Our boiled wool jackets are highly wind-resistant and reliably protect against cold winds. Corduroy jackets, on the other hand, are better suited to dry, milder weather.

Which jacket will my child wear in winter?

In winter, the layering principle has proven its worth. A breathable base layer, a warming mid-layer, and a boiled-wool jacket on top provide comfortable warmth without causing your child to overheat.

What is the difference between a boiled-wool jacket and a corduroy jacket?

A wool boiled-felt jacket is especially suitable for cool, windy days and provides reliable protection from the elements.

A corduroy jacket is lighter and ideal for mild temperatures in spring or fall.

Which jacket is suitable for kindergarten?

For kindergarten, we recommend comfortable jackets that allow plenty of freedom of movement. They should be easy to put on and take off and keep up with every adventure on the playground.

Why are grow-with-me children's jackets useful?

Children grow quickly. Adjustable designs ensure that a jacket can often be worn for significantly longer. This saves resources and makes the jacket a true favorite.

Which children's jacket is right?

This mainly depends on the season. Lightweight corduroy or bomber jackets are ideal for spring and fall. On cooler days, a boiled wool jacket provides reliable protection from the wind and cold.
