Boiled wool trousers with kangaroo pockets and organic cotton cuffs
Our classic boiled wool knickerbockers in mauve are the ideal companion for fall, winter and spring – especially in cold and wet weather. Whether sitting in damp sand, in leaves or romping around in the drizzle: the robust boiled wool fabric reliably protects against cold and wet conditions without your child overheating – thanks to the temperature-regulating properties of wool.
The wide cuffs on the legs fit perfectly into winter or rubber boots and also ensure that the trousers grow with your child. This quickly makes them a sustainable favourite that can be worn across several sizes.
The knickerbockers are unlined and can be worn over tights, leggings or a second pair of knickerbockers with striped cuffs – ideal for layering. The loose, comfortable cut offers freedom of movement and space for nappies or cloth nappies.
The unisex design makes them a versatile all-rounder for girls and boys – whether for the playground, forest kindergarten or simply for everyday wear.
🪡 Handmade in Berlin: Like all our products, these knickerbockers are made with great care and love in our Berlin factory – from high-quality, certified boiled wool. The mauve colour brings gentle warmth to the wardrobe and is easy to combine.
A durable favourite for everyday wear – practical, cosy and sustainable.

Most of our children's clothes can be worn for years. And because they are so timeless, they never go out of fashion. We also avoid prints or gender-specific cuts so that our garments can be swapped and passed on between siblings.
PETIT COCHON children's clothing is loved and kept for a long time and can be worn pre-loved. This means that our items are mended and repaired instead of being mucked out or thrown away. That's how we do it - nothing is thrown away at PETIT COCHON.

PETIT COCHON, that's us:
We have always wanted beautiful, simple and comfortable clothes for our own children that don't have to be constantly replaced.
We now have a wonderful team and produce in three sewing studios in Berlin. We stand for true sustainability in the textile industry and work every day to create timeless, long-lasting clothing.
